Considered one of the most powerful punchers in the welterweight division, and that shows in the numbers .
He's a two-time Olympian (2008 & 2012) and World Championship bronze medalist (2011), giving him a rock-solid amateur pedigree. His pro career has seen him tested at the highest level — he challenged WBO welterweight champion Terence Crawford in December 2019, showing well early before being stopped in round nine.
Most recently, he defeated Samuel Molina by split decision in November 2025 to win the European welterweight title, He's currently ranked #7 by the WBC at welterweight with no next fight announced yet.
